Summary[]
In the world, a company known as Toytoy Candy created 100 limited edition pieces of candy, which when eaten, could give people the ability to conjure candy. However, one ToyToy Candy user used their lollipop sweets ability to destroy Tokyo, and rebuilding plans have not been scheduled.
The story starts 5 years later with a girl called Tsumugi Minase, whose favourite sweet is lollipops, buying a cream puff on her way to school. She is not able to get one because they are sold out. However, a man gives her a cream puff due to her looks. She walks away in delight, but then gets attacked by a donut sweets user who ties her up with a giant donut, stating that he needs to meet up with the "others". Minase escapes, and attacks the man with a giant lollipop, revealing that she herself is a sweets user. After beating the other sweets user up, she cries over her cream puff. Some teenagers come up to her, worried about what she did to the man, but they get stooped by a giant fork, which is revealed to belong to a member of the Recette. Minase pretends to be a normal girl, and tells the Recette, who looks the same age as her, that she was mixed up in the situation, and she proceeds on her way to school. On the way to school, she sees an abandoned pig, who she originally makes fun of, but then feels sorry for and gives it her umbrella, knowing it will rain that afternoon.
In class, there is a new student, known as Misaki Midori, who Minase recognises to be the member of the Recette she talked to earlier that day. The Recette agent still suspects her. Minase realises that Midori is actually terrible in his studies and decides to tutor him for a while.
After school on the way home, it starts to rain, and Minase notices that the pig she saved was adopted and taken, along with her umbrella. She suddenly feels a sense of pity for herself and says to herself that she is lower than a pig.
Meanwhile, Midori gets a call from the Recette, saying that the donut user from that morning had escaped after expanding his doughnuts, exceeding his max capacity and becoming unhinged. He is believed to be close to the school. Minase states at the donut user, who has now become a giant monster engulfed by doughnuts.
The monster attacks Minase, who panicked and is choosing whether or not to use her powers, and decides not to in the end. It cuts to a flashback from five years ago, where it is then revealed that it wasn't Minase who destroyed Tokyo with her lollipops, but actually another sweets user with the same ability as her. However, she knows that no one will believe her, as it is a known fact that no two abilities are the same.
In the present, Midori appears and fights the monster, despite being beaten up and almost being defeated. Minase decides not to be selfish and keep thinking about herself, and instead conjures a giant lollipop to defeat the monster, taking it down in one hit.
Upon defeating the monster, Midori approaches her and says that it is his duty to arrest her. She does not say anything, except for the line "Those weren't my lollipops.", referring to the incident 5 years ago.
